Wireless technology keeps advancing and the number of mobile devices keeps climbing. On a campus today a student often carries up to three at once and moves between buildings with them, which makes the network harder to plan than a fixed office floor.
Learning now depends on that connection: online lessons, learning platforms that track progress, and tablets used in class. When the Wi-Fi degrades, teaching degrades with it.
The approach
The work starts with a site survey rather than a product list — measuring how the signal actually behaves in the buildings concerned, where it is absorbed, and where cells will overlap.
Access points are then placed for capacity, not just coverage, and managed centrally so roaming between them is seamless and the IT team can see where the load is going.
